# Secretary Privacy Policy

Data Collection: Secretary processes text you submit through the keyboard extension to provide grammar improvements. This text is sent to our secure server for processing and is not stored, logged, or retained after the corrected text is returned.
Keyboard Access: Secretary requires Full Access to send your text to our grammar improvement service. No keystrokes are logged, stored, or transmitted beyond the specific text you choose to improve by swiping down.
Device Identifier: A random device identifier is used solely to enforce daily free usage limits. This identifier is not linked to your personal identity and cannot be used to identify you.
Subscription Information: Subscription status is managed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not collect or store any payment information.
Third-Party Services: Text submitted for grammar correction is processed using OpenAI’s API. No personal identifiers are sent with your text. Please refer to OpenAI’s privacy policy for their data handling practices.
Data Storage: Usage counts and subscription status are stored locally on your device. No personal data is stored on external servers.
Children’s Privacy: Secretary does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes: We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.
